Burundi – Education and Family Support

From its earliest years, Fondation Rolf Schnyder supported children’s education in Burundi, including help with teacher and nurse costs so schools and clinics in the community could keep running.

That work also included small support for family livelihoods, so households could stay stable enough for children to stay in school. Photographs from August 2013 record a literacy certification ceremony in the community.

Local partners carried the day-to-day work. The Foundation helped make it possible.
