China – Nanyang Special Care Centre

In Henan Province, New Hope Foundation ran specialist care at Nanyang for infants and young children who needed medical attention that ordinary orphanages could not give. The centre opened in 2015, in co-operation with Nanyang Children’s Welfare Institute.

Fondation Rolf Schnyder helped establish that care space ahead of the opening, so children could be looked after on site.

Medical care remained New Hope’s work. The centre later closed in 2024. The Foundation’s role was to help put the facility in place.
