Malaysia – Nourish

Nourish Malaysia works with low-income families and children with special needs, with a particular focus on keeping children in school. Fondation Rolf Schnyder has supported this work through partnership, rather than by running a separate programme of its own.

The support has centred on classroom materials, sensory learning tools, and regular food aid for households where hunger and economic pressure put school attendance at risk.

Nutrition and school attendance

The work links food support to educational continuity. When meals and basic school supplies are more stable, children are better able to remain in class.

Emergency support

During the COVID-19 period, Fondation Rolf Schnyder also provided operational funding so Nourish could distribute groceries and essential supplies to households facing immediate hardship.
